Before After
Ingredients :
- All-purpose flour/maida - 1 cup
- Coconut - 1 cup grated
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 2 {egg substitute : 1/4 cup condensed milk}
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Milk - 1 tbsp
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Raisins - 1/4 cup
- Yellow food color
Method :
- Pre-heat the oven to 350F/180C.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until soft and the sugar has blended well.
- Add the eggs, one at a time and beat until well combined.
- Add the grated coconut and raisins, mix well.
- Now add the vanilla extract , pinch of salt and mix .
- Then carefully fold in the flour along with baking powder into the coconut mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased tin.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn the cake out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
