Uttapam is a delicious and super quick breakfast recipe made from rava / semolina with
different kinds of veggies as toppings also called as savory indian pancakes.
Here's a yummy uttapam recipe that's really easy to make.

Here's a yummy uttapam recipe that's really easy to make.
Ingredients :
- Rava / semolina - 2 cups
- Curd - 2 cups
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Carrots - 2 grated
- Capsicum - 1 finely chopped / grated
- Salt - as per taste
- Cumin seed powder - to sprinkle
- Red chilli powder - to sprinkle
Method :
- Mix the rava and yogurt together in equal quantities to form a batter.
- Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
- Then add salt as per your taste and mix well.
- It should have the consistency of pancake batter so add a little water to have the right consistency.
- Heat a skillet and Pour a ladle full of batter and spread gently.
- Add the chopped onions, capsicum and carrot on top.
- Sprinkle some cumin seed powder and red chilli powder.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges for cooking.
- Let it cook for a couple of minutes on one side and then flip.
- Cook for another couple of minutes, till its done.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.
